Welcome to the Bourne History on your Doorstep Trail.

The town of Bourne has a rich history spanning over 2000 years and beyond, from the railway age all the way to the Neolithic. There is much history to be celebrated, and to discover.

A fun way, and a healthy way, to learn about the rich history of Bourne is to follow this fun and informative trail. You will be led around the town by scanning the QR code on the Information boards. The QR codes will lead you to a riddle for you to solve before journeying to your next destination of heritage trivia.

If you need assistance, please leave a comment on the Bourne History Group Facebook page. Please bare in mind that the group may not get back to you straight away, but there is normally someone on the group who will have an answer, or point you in the right direction.

Please enjoy a lovely healthy walk around the town, and don't forget to pop into your local shops and discover what they have to offer: a cup of coffee, an envelope, a fork handle, a newspaper or magazine, or maybe something crafty.
